A perk of my job is that I get the opportunity to go places I may never get to go on my own, and on someone else’s dime. Unfortunately for my job I often have to go to places I would never go on my own (Hartford). I really have not traveled for pleasure but there are several places I have always wanted to go before I get too old to enjoy them. I can think of probably 10 or more but I will narrow to five for the sake of the reader. (more…)

A mind of many matters has grown close to the culture farthest away. The dark days of the year are upon me and I need to let some things go. The Creoles and the Latinos, heights afar and tongues astray, but the love, the passion, the depth. Its all in me, yet was never around me. Technology is what guides us through life every day. We can’t go 5 blocks without our GPS, Internet service is equal to if not more important than running water and if we don’t have the ability to record 6 shows a night on each of our 1,500 cable channels well we might go all Kim Jong Il on somebody. So we have a team who was 18-0 entering their last game. The best team of all time just waiting to add another ring to their collection. Thirteen point favorites who would mop the floor with anyone from the substandard NFC. Well we all now know the outcome of the Super Bowl and it makes you wonder how predictions fit into our society.
